Painting Wood Siding — Jonathan J. Real Barn Restoration Project

Jonathan’s North Carolina Barn Project

When we launched Dalsberg Paint in the U.S., Jonathan was the very first person to reach out.

And honestly, it felt like the right person at the right time.

Jonathan had an old wood barn in North Carolina — exactly the kind of American building we had in mind when we created Dalsberg.

We wanted to bring back the look of traditional barn paint: deep, matte, natural-looking color that works with the wood. Not a copy of a 200-year-old recipe, but a modern version made with natural mineral and organic ingredients.

So we sent Jonathan the paint for his barn.

He understood what we were trying to do from the start, and he became our first U.S. ambassador.

Jonathan’s Barn

This is how the barn looked before painting — weathered exterior wood siding, ready for a new life.
