🪣 Simple Preparation
Each bag mixes with:
✔ 1 gallon of water
✔ 12–15 oz boiled linseed oil (strongly recommended, not included)
Any boiled linseed oil from Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace Hardware, or similar retailers works perfectly.
The paint can be used without linseed oil, but the finish may appear slightly lighter and the wood will receive less long-term protection.
Adding boiled linseed oil creates a richer, deeper barn red while improving water resistance, reducing surface chalking, and providing additional long-term durability for exterior wood.
📏 Coverage & Color Depth
Coverage varies depending on wood species, surface texture, and absorption.
A second coat is recommended on very light-colored wood, smooth planed surfaces, or highly porous wood.
It also builds a stronger mineral layer, enhances color depth, and creates a richer.
